Chip and Dale

Next I would like to talk about is Chip and Dale, two cute chipmunks.

Chip and Dale are two chipmunk cartoon characters created in 1943 at Walt Disney Productions. Their names are a pun based on the name "Chippendable". An easy way to visually tell them apart is that Chip has a black nose like a chocolate chip as a way to help people remember who is who with two centered protruding teeth. Dale has a big red nose and his two prominent buck teeth exposed.

The voices of Chip and Dale are provided by James MacDonald, Dessie Flynn, Tress MacNeille, and Corey Burton.

Pluto

Next character I would like to talk is Mickey's dog, Pluto.

Pluto was created by Walt Disney Productions in 1930. He is mustard-colored, medium-sized, short-haired dog with black ears. Pluto is one of the Sensational Six, which includes Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, and Goofy.

Pluto has been voiced by Pinto Colvig, Lee Millar, and Bill Farmer since 1990.

Minnie Mouse

Now I like to talk about Mickey's girlfriend, Minnie Mouse.

Minnie Mouse was also created by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks in 1928. Her full name is

Minerva Mouse, but she goes by Minnie for short. Minnie's parents are Marcus and Margie Mouse, both of them are farmers. Minnie cares about Mickey Mouse very much and they fall in love.

The voice of Minnie Mouse was first done by Walt Disney. Then Marjorie Norton Raiston, Marcellite Garner, Thelma Boardman, Ruth Clifford, and now Russi Taylor. Also in real life, Russi Taylor was married to fellow voice actor Wayne Allwine who both provides the voices of Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.

Mickey Mouse

Welcome to the Disney Characters page. I would like to start with my favorite Disney character of all time, Mickey Mouse.

Mickey Mouse was created by Walt Disney in 1928. Walt voiced Mickey from 1928 to 1947.
Then Jimmy McDonald, Les Perkins, Wayne Allwine, and now Bret Iwan voiced Mickey Mouse.

Mickey's first movie was Steamboat Willie in 1928, which can be seen at Disneyland on Main Street at the Main Street Cinema. Mickey Mouse has his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, which he received in 1978. Mickey's best friends are Minnie Mouse who is the love of his life, his pet dog Pluto, Donald Duck, and Goofy.
